There will be no meeting next week.

Veterans Day was officially set aside as a legal holiday in 1938 as Armistice Day. This was originally done as a remembrance of those who served in WWI, and was to take place every November 11th, to commemorate the cessation of hostilities that occurred on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. In 1954 Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day to honor Veterans from WWII and Korea as well. Take time to thank a Veteran for their service.
