Samuel Moore-Sobel is an author, speaker, and columnist. His debut memoir, Can You See My Scars? is the story of a harrowing encounter with sulfuric acid, trauma, and severe burns.
His work has been published in Burn Support Magazine, Open: Journal of Arts & Letters, Loudoun Times-Mirror, Loudoun Now, and other publications. He is a columnist for the Blue Ridge Leader and previously served on the local disability services board. He writes about trauma, his experience as a burn survivor, faith, and political activism. He has a degree in government and international politics and currently lives in Northern Virginia.
